Affirmations Simplified


The definition of Affirmation:

“Affirmations are short, inspiring phrases that if repeated often enough will eventually sink into the subconscious mind and put you on a surefire route to success”

How does it work?

It works by influencing the subconscious mind. Just keep saying the same thing to yourself over and over again and your mind will eventually believe it.

85-90% of every single action we take each day is guided by our beliefs rooted in our subconscious.

If your mind is not willing to accept that you’re (Whatever you say), then maybe you should stop telling it that. Here’s what I mean by that,

If you currently get 65% in your exams, telling your mind that you’re going to get 95% may be too big of a leap for your mind. It may be too much of a stretch and your mind may subconsciously start to work against you.

However, your mind would be absolutely fine hearing you say, “I’m going to get 75% or 85%”

This is still a stretch, but it’s a stretch that your mind doesn’t immediately throw out. In time, as you train your mind to accept bigger goals, you’ll see that it’s willing to accept larger statements.


Unless your subconscious mind is convinced that you are a success, then your conscious mind will never get the support and ideas that it needs to make prosperity and achievement a reality for you.

Of course, just saying them now and then won’t bring the changes you desire. You need to do this daily, preferably first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

Why morning and night?

Simply because these are the best times to affect the subconscious mind. In the morning your mind is fresh and in the night before sleeping makes it easy to settle in.

Take action to put them into practice. Transform them from just being thoughts into reality. Slowly, these affirmations will become a real part of you.


Many people do not reach their potential because they fail to take action. They continue to hold on to the limiting beliefs that their parents and society have instilled in them.

Every time you use positive affirmations it sends a positive message to your subconscious mind. Before you know it the doors will begin to open for you so that you can begin the journey towards what you desire.

It is up to you to remain open and when you see an opportunity, be brave enough to take action. Remember without action you can continue saying affirmations and you may not achieve any success.

Here are some affirmations that you can begin using right away:

  1. I am enough and I am getting better.
  2. I believe I can do anything.
  3. I forgive those who hаrmеd mе and I love all people.
  4. Everything thаt is hарреnіng now іѕ hарреnіng fоr a reason.
  5. I am more enthusiastic today.
