1. Get rid of stuffs

Most people’s living space is cluttered with things they never use and which don’t contribute to their well-being.

Here’s why you should DECLUTTER.

Start letting go of the stuff in your home that you don’t use, love or even notice most of the time.

2. Stop buying things that you don’t need

Buying things that you don’t need is the reason why your place got cluttered. So stop accumulating all the things ‘you think’ you need or just because you can save some money by using coupons or discount.

We’re being fooled by the advertising industry with their marketing techniques that shopping is all we need to be happy.

So resist the temptation to buy products that you don’t need even if it’s on SALE.

3. Appreciate the things you already have

Most of us constantly compare ourselves to others who(in our eyes) always seem happier, more beautiful and way more important than us.

By comparing yourself to others, you’re wasting your precious Life.

You need to embrace yourself for who you are, with all your flaws and imperfections.

Appreciate the little things in life and all of a sudden you’ll discover that you have way more than you ever thought.

4. Minimize your Internet time

Don’t get me wrong, I love using the internet and spend much of my time online myself.

But if we don’t learn how to use the INTERNET mindfully and instead let it use us, then it can play havoc with our well being.

• Close as many tabs you can.

• Check your emails up to two times a day, filter and process them immediately.

• Spend as less time on social media as possible.

5. Watch your words

We say things we don’t mean and we don’t say those things that we do mean and this inevitably leads to misunderstandings and interpersonal conflict.

From now on, be sure to avoid lies and instead share your sincere thoughts as well as express your true feelings.

Make your word your bond.

6. Do one thing at a time

We’re usually carrying out different tasks at the same time and so whatever we are doing, our mind is partly wondering somewhere else.

For instance,

• We check our phones while we’re eating or when others are talking to us.

• We are jumping between tabs in a browser.

• We are thinking of what thing to do next before finishing the current thing.

Not only aren’t we able to give our best to what we’re doing but also we can’t enjoy the task at hand.

So next time make sure that you concentrate on a single task at a time.

For instance, when you’re talking to someone, don’t check your phone at the same time and just give them your full attention.

7. Take care of your body

In order to be able to enjoy your life, it’s vital that you treat your body with utmost care.

If you’d like to optimize your health, you need to listen to its needs and act accordingly.

For example, if you feel like moving, move. If you feel tired, stop moving your body to recharge your batteries.

8. Focus on your most important goals

To live a purposeful life, you need to discover the few things that you’re most interested in and dedicate yourself to them.

Whatever they are, be sure to make them your top priority.

By doing so, you’ll be able to live a life that is filled with meaning and purpose, without getting sidetracked by things that don’t matter to you.

  • fully attending what’s happening in the present, instead of dwelling in the past or the future.
  • observing your thoughts and feelings without judging, resisting or feeding them.
  • consciously responding to situations instead of overreacting to them or being overwhelmed by them.

So practice Mindfulness daily.
