So how do you know if you have a problem? Here are 6 signs to look for.

1. You check your phone in the middle of the night.

If you’re expecting a call from your loved ones or something very important, then by all means, cuddle your device.

But if you wake up at 2:20 AM to check if your latest post in Instagram or Facebook has new likes or shares, you may have a problem.

2. You text while you walk.

Texting while walking is not a good idea because you put yourself in danger when you text and walk.

We’ve all seen those videos.

Though it may seem texting and walking is efficient, it’s not.

You don’t wanna get accident or fall down. Do you?

And also it becomes an obstacle to the people who are trying to get around you.

3. Your phone is your constant bathroom companion.

I gotta say, I’ve been doing this for a long time. I thought I was being efficient. I thought, doing two things at once is productive.

But just recently I realized that it’s neither productive nor efficient.

Studies showed that by bringing phone to the bathroom, we’re exposing it to millions of microorganisms. Gross!

4. You get anxious when you forget your phone.

We became the dominant species in the known universe about thousands of years ago without Instagram or Snapchat.

So I am pretty sure that you can go a day without it.

5. You can’t help but use your phone when face to face with others.

How do you deeply offend a friend who’s hanging out with you one on one?

Pick up your phone to check if your post got likes or comments, or any cat videos that might be more worthy of your attention than this friend in front of you.

6. You use your phone to escape from tasks or challenges.

This is a big one.

Have you ever felt guilty for doing this👇?

One day you accidentally found some app(gaming or video realted) or website(you know what I mean), and spent two hours scrolling and watching and playing.

If so, well…you know you have a problem.
