It doesn’t matter what you do in your life, there will always be someone who finds fault in it.
For some reason, someone will find a reason to project their insecurities, their negativity and their fears onto you and your life.
So how do you get over it and move forward anyway?
In this post, I’ll talk about how karting showed me a better way to deal with crticizing people.
The Best Way To Deal With Criticism:
Yesterday I went karting for the first time in my life and I gotta say, it was freakin’ awesome!!!
If you haven’t experienced it yet, you gotta try it yo!
And while driving, it was kinda hard to stay on the track because I keep focusing on the side lines.
After few laps, I decided to just focus on the road ahead instead of side lines and then staying on the track became easier and in fact I was faster than before.
And that got me thinking…
Criticism is exactly like those side lines in the racing field. If you focus on it, you’ll run right into it.

So if you focus your attention on crticism, it can certainly distract you from doing your thing (whatever that is).
However, if you focus on the road (your next step) in front of you and on moving forward, then you can safely speed past those side lines (criticism and negativity).
And just so you know,
Just because people criticize you doesn’t mean they really care about you.
When someone crticizes you, use that as a signal to get back to your work and to focus on the road ahead of you.
Your life is too short to worry about pleasing those who criticize.
