4 Simple Hacks To Stop Overeating

4 Simple Hacks To Stop Overeating

Overeating is so common these days.

May be it’s because of the compelling ads or your emotional state or simply just because others are doing it too.

Whatever the reason is, overeating is not healthy for you.

So here are 4 simple tricks which will help you focus on eating just the right amount for you instead of walking with a way-too-full belly.

1. Walk before eating

There’s more to it than just burning calories.

Though it seems counterintuitive, walking (exercise) might actually help to make you less hungry.

Think about it.

When you walk, you might be more motivated to make healthier choices to avoid undoing that hard work.

2. Drink a glass of water before eating

It takes up space in your stomach, so there’s literally less room for food.

And I do this most of the time if not always.

Because, it really works.

3. Promise yourself a reward

Decide on a healthy eating goal – eating vegetables at least once a day or not gonna eat processed meat for a week.

Then,

Promise yourself a non-food reward if you stick with it.

Anything you want! I suggest you to pick something meaningful.

It sounds deceptively easy, but it’s effective.

4. Eat in small plates

If you have the option to serve yourself on a small plate instead of a big plate, do it. Less space means you’ll automatically pile on less food.

And,

Less food means less of a chance to feel stuffed.
